Primarily inspired by the female Anaconda, the most powerful and largest reptile. From thescales, the texture, the colors, the movement, the shedding of the skin that represents a form of rebirth, the fact that they're larger then the male species due to sexual dimorphism, the pheromones they release to attract their mates, really the power they posses, because even after copulation they completely consume their mate. Using a diverse range of sheer fabrics in as many ways as possible to emulate their characteristics, transformed into the dance of darkness, violent, explicit and really expressing anguish. Butoh makes it all come to life.
Aulis - By Chistopher Chen
An Act of Nihilism in one long act.
The Cornell box was made in representation of certain key elements within the story, used as a method of organizing thoughts and visualizing key design elements, but also considering questions regarding the depth of the screen play. For instance asking if the story could be somebody's outer body experience? Or perhaps a Hallucination that leads to an Epiphany ? Maybe its simply the characters reflections, trying to makes some sense of the life they're leading. And even the possibility of them simply being puppets having their every move controlled, this interactive box explores these ideas and questions.
